In a thought provoking series of talks, performance, film, discussion panel and participatory workshops, the symposium will focus on the themes of the blimey! Lucretia project: representation and engagement. How might we think about Guido Reno’s ‘Death of Lucretia’ in the post #metoo era? What is our relationship to art in the museum setting? How do we create new spaces in which to open up fresh ideas about representation and engagement?
Places free, which include free entry to The Bowes Museum. Limited number of tickets available.
